New to NPR First Nazarene?

Thanks for stopping by NPR First Nazarene’s website.  Navigation from here is quick and easy.  The menus at the top will lead you to everything NPR First Nazarene offers and will help you get connected to our ministries.  Our mission statement is “Relating to God, each other, and community.”  We relate to God through  Celebrative Worship; We relate to each other as a community church simply seeking life together as we follow Christ and grow deeper into his word; and we relate to our community through serving our church family and the community around us.

We hope you enjoy our website.  We pray that if you are looking for a home church that you will take the opportunity to visit with us.

Current Series:

Join us for our sermon series "We Are Sorry"

We are entering the Season of Lent.  It is a time that we as a Christian Community need to stop and take time to reflect on our lives.  A time to examine the distance between God and ourselves, confess those things that clutter our relationship with him.  We approach Lent through an individual commitment and a commitment together as a Christian Community.

I challenge you to make a commitment to God that you will take the time in this Season of Lent to focus on your relationship with God through a time of reflection, repentance, prayer, fasting and exploring His Word.  Enter into Lent as a privilege, choosing to deny yourself  from a daily pleasure.  Through self-denial and self-sacrifice we can, in a very small way, show God how much our relationship with Him means to us.

We could never give up enough things to match what he has given us, His Son; yet if we come together as a body of believers and tell him "We're Sorry", confess those things that get in the way of getting closer with Him; God will honor your effort, our efforts, and pour our His blessings.
